Vulcanizing tape made of polyisobutylene. It melts into a homogeneous mass within a few hours and should be protected with a soft plastic tape or electrical tape to prevent wear or exposure to UV light and moisture. Suitable for waterproof jointing of cables and corrosion protection of pipes.
