Ballast Water Record Book

This Ballast Water Record Book is designed in accordance with the Ballast Water Management Convention (BWM 2004) and updated IMO regulations effective from 2025. It is used for recording the uptake, treatment, and discharge of ballast water, as well as sediment management.

The logbook provides a clear and structured format for documenting all ballast water operations, ensuring compliance with international and national environmental requirements. It is suitable for vessels subject to ballast water regulations.

Usage and Regulations:

This logbook is used in accordance with the Ballast Water Management Convention (BWM 2004), as implemented in Norwegian regulations by the Norwegian Maritime Authority.

Entries must be made continuously and accurately, documenting ballast water uptake, treatment, and discharge.

The logbook is an official ship document and must be available for inspection onboard.
