When you need a fast-cure sealant for your fine threaded metal pipes and fittings, LOCTITE® 542 is a great choice. This medium-strength adhesive locks and seals threaded metal assemblies against vibration loosening, and is resistant to fuel, oil, coolants, and hydraulic fluids. Its thixotropic nature means you can expect less liquid product migration after you've applied it to the part. Contains no fillers or particles that could foul or clog fluid filtration systems.
