LOCTITE® 431 is a one-part, medium viscosity cyanoacrylate adhesive developed for fast bonding of plastics and rubber. It is particularly suitable for difficult-to-bond materials, including porous and acidic surfaces.
When used with LOCTITE® SF 7701 primer, it enables bonding of low surface energy plastics such as PP, PE, and PTFE. With a fixture time of 5–10 seconds, it ensures efficient and precise assembly of small to medium-sized components.
LOCTITE® 431 has been tested according to ISO 10993 standards and is suitable for use in disposable medical device applications.
