Solid thimbles in cast steel (GGG50) are designed to protect wire ropes and extend their service life. These thimbles are available in most sizes with different hole diameters and feature a self-colored finish.

Important: If the customer machines the holes and finds porosity, the risk lies with the customer. When purchasing machined holes, the risk remains with the manufacturer.
Instructions for use:
Ensure the thimble dimensions allow the rope to fit properly into the groove. When used with wire clips, follow correct installation:
- First clip one bridge width from the rope tail
- Second clip against the thimble without damaging outer wires
- Remaining clips spaced 1.5–3 times the clip width
