Life hook - SB Rescue Sling, complete

The SB Rescue Sling Complete II is a comprehensive Man Overboard (MOB) recovery system designed to safely recover an uninjured casualty from the water while keeping the rescuer out of the water. It is suitable for both marine and shore‑based rescue operations where distance recovery is required.

The system includes an anodised aluminium rescue frame, telescopic boat hook, 1‑metre handle extension, rescue harness, and a 6‑metre rescue line with line bag and carabiner. The telescopic configuration provides an effective reach of up to approximately 4.5–5.2 metres while maintaining a total system weight of only 3 kg. The unit is quick to deploy and can be reset in under 30 seconds for repeated use.

The boat hook can be adapted for multiple functions, including emergency oar, propeller knife, fishing gaff, or deck brush. Maintenance requirements are minimal; however, the rescue harness must be function‑tested every 12 months and replaced every 3 years. The complete system should be replaced after 9 years.
