Norus Rustconverter NR is a proven corrosion control system designed for rusted ferrous metal surfaces. The product chemically converts rust into a stable organic iron compound while simultaneously creating an impermeable barrier against moisture and oxygen, helping to reduce future corrosion.
The water-based latex formulation is environmentally friendly and free from hazardous mineral acids. It requires minimal surface preparation and can be applied by brush, roller or airless spray. Once cured, the treated surface is ready for painting and compatible with most coating systems including oil-based paints, synthetic coatings and two-component finishes.

- Touch dry: 15-45 minutes
- Overcoat after: 24-48 hours
- Application temperature: 5°C to 40°C
- Coverage: Approximately 12 m² per litre at 50-100 micron wet film thickness
