The ESAB OK 46.00 is a reliable, easy-to-use welding electrode designed to deliver smooth welds and consistent results in all positions—even on galvanized or lightly contaminated materials.

The ESAB OK 46.00 is a rutile-coated, all-current electrode (AC/DC+) suitable for welding unalloyed carbon steel. It offers a stable arc, smooth bead appearance, and excellent weldability across all positions, including vertical-down welding.

Ideal for:

  • Thin to medium thickness materials
  • Various joint types
  • Tack and short welds
  • Galvanized and slightly rusted surfaces

The electrode features easy arc ignition and re-ignition, along with a slag that removes easily, improving efficiency and productivity.
