Kryo® 1 is a premium low hydrogen welding electrode designed to deliver strong, crack-resistant welds in demanding environments. With proven impact toughness down to -60°C and extremely low hydrogen levels, it ensures reliable performance where quality is critical.

Kryo® 1 is a basic low hydrogen stick electrode for welding low alloy steels requiring high mechanical performance and resistance to cracking. It produces a stable and concentrated arc, making it ideal for positional welding (all positions except vertical-down).
The weld deposit offers exceptional metallurgical purity and very low diffusible hydrogen levels (approx. 2 ml/100 g), reducing the risk of hydrogen-induced cracking. The electrode provides high efficiency (110–120%) and can be used with both AC and DC current.
It is particularly suitable for applications exposed to low temperatures, such as offshore structures, pressure vessels, and critical infrastructure.
