TKH aluminum ferrules conform to the European standard EN 13411-3 for turnback ferrule or ferrule-secured eye terminations (FSET). They are produced from seamless extrusions using AW-5051A aluminum alloy as per EN 573-3 standards. While TK ferrules do not adhere to this standard, they have been rigorously tested and verified by Talurit®.
TKH aluminum ferrules are widely used in the lifting gear industry due to their versatility. They are thoroughly specified and well-defined for various wire rope applications, including fibre core, single-layer wire ropes, steel core single-layer wire ropes, rotation-resistant wire ropes, and some spiral strand ropes. Tested and verified according to EN 13411-3, these ferrules ensure reliable performance across multiple use cases.
The turnback ferrule system is user-friendly, quick, safe, and proven to be highly reliable. It is more efficient than other swaging methods available. T ferrules smaller than size 5 can be swaged with hand tools, while those larger than size 60 require a special multi-stage swaging method.
