Specifications

The Devold Shield Pants are flame-resistant base layer trousers designed for professionals working in hazardous environments. The garment functions as an insulating base or mid layer and combines permanently flame-resistant Lenzing FR®, temperature-regulating Merino wool, durable polyamide reinforcement and antistatic NEGA-STAT® fibres.

The unique terry-knit construction creates an insulating air layer between the body and the garment, providing protection against both cold and heat. This structure ensures excellent thermal insulation while maintaining high breathability and effective moisture transport. The result is a soft, functional and durable garment with long-lasting performance and comfort in demanding working conditions.

The Shield range provides documented protection against flame, arc flash and static electricity, helping to reduce the risk of sparking and heat stress in hazardous workplaces. The garment is certified according to EN ISO 11612, EN 61482-2 APC 1 (4 kA) and EN 1149-5.
